Whats the difference between a pool pump and a pool filter?

Both pool pumps and pool filters work as components under your pools filtration system, but they have different features. 

The pool pump draws water from the pool and pushes it into the filter, heater, and sanitising equipment. This water is then processed before returning to your pool clean and balanced. A good pump keeps your pool water flowing as it should and balances its chemical distribution.
